AR Suite for collaborative assembly operations

The ODIN AR Suite for collaborative assembly operations enables seamless human-robot collaboration by providing operators with real-time, context-aware guidance and feedback during assembly tasks. Through intuitive AR interfaces, workers can interact with robots, access digital work instructions, and ensure process quality, leading to improved productivity and reduced training time.

Following the successful completion of ODIN project, LMS continued maturing the AR suite for collaborative assembly operations and is currently working towards integrating this KER as background IP in upcoming EU-funded research projects, enhancing its role as a technology leader. In addition, the Teaching Factory Competence Center (TF-CC) conceptualized by LMS through years of research, is currently serving as a testing ground to adapt this technology for real-world factory environments. As indicated in the figure below, the AR suite has already been added by LMS under the official website of their group for Robotics and Automation in Manufacturing demonstrating some core functionalities and used equipment. Finally, Netcompany is collaborating with LMS in order to provide the AR suite as an add-in service of the OpenFlow Platform, namely KER #4, so this solution can be offered as a package (AR suite and OpenFlow platform).
